Thank you for considering First Course, Inc. at Shaker Farms Country Club to host your catered event. We are dedicated to creating the perfect atmosphere for your special event. We understand that there are many details involved in planning your special occasion; therefore, our banquet coordinator will be your guide to planning and finalizing the details of your party. During your function you will have a personal hostess to insure that every detail is fulfilled. We would like to invite you to visit our facility to view our Banquet Hall and our private Bridal Suite. Please call for an appointment with our Banquet Coordinator. Policies

The following policies have been set up by, and are strictly adhered to, by First Course, Inc. and Shaker Farms Country Club who reserve the right to inspect and control all private functions. Liability for damage to the premises will be charged accordingly.

Reservation Confirmation

A $500.00 deposit is required to secure your even in the Banquet Hall at Shaker Farms Country Club. Cash, check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard) may be used to make payment. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made within 30 days of the even will be subject to a $200.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 5 days of the even will be charged 50% at the expected revenue.

Food Service

First Course, Inc. at Shaker Farms Country Club must provide all food and beverage services for your function. Menu selection and final guest count must be received approximately ten days in advance of your function. This number is not subject to reduction. Full payment is due approximately five days prior to the function date. The per person price on our menus include 5% Massachusetts Meal Tax and a 20% Gratuity charge.

Beverage Service

A $ 75.00 Bartender Fee is charged for a portable bar for your cocktail hour if your social hour is located on the deck or patio.
